| Jerry served three years in Vietnam. He loved his family, playing golf, riding his Harley and hanging out with old friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Bates and Juanita Burris Cason. He is survived by his sister, Sheryl (Karl) Evins, uncle John (Jan) Cason, cousins Bud (Gayle) Harris and Larry (Joelene) Harris, nieces Sheri (Todd) Hutchison and Kim (Frank) Landrum, nephew Robert Hayes and numerous great-nieces and nephews. The family will have a memorial service August 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Nashville National Cemetery located at 1420 Gallatin Pike South, Madison, TN. 37115. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in his honor to your favorite charity. | ||||||||||||
Jerry Frank Cason was my very first boyfriend. He was THE BEST dancer I ever danced with, and he was also my very first kiss! I will always remember him as a gentle sweet boy and I will always think of him and all the fun we had at Burton and at Hillsboro along with all our gang! Rest well my sweet friend! â
