KIDD, Gene Miller Age 65 of Nashville. April 3, 2012. Died after a brief battle with Cancer. Gene was a devoted father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He loved spending time with his friends and family, playing Golf, and was an avid Ole Miss fan. He will most be remembered for his sense of humor and love of life. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Gwynne Simmons; daughter, Kasey (Patrick); grandson, Caleb of Nashville; son, Clayton Kidd, Birmingham, AL; and by loving nieces and nephews. Gene's Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 14th at St. Paul Community Church in Nashville, TN. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m., with the service following at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alive Hospice Nashville or the American Melanoma Foundation in LaJolla, CA.
Gene was one of the greatest individuals ever! He loved Ole Miss and Oxford immensely and will never be forgotten by his fellow Rebels. We miss him dearly. Steve Vassallo Oxford, MS
