Don passed away on May 10, 2002. He was in the United States Navy from 1966-69 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger in Vietnam. He left behind a wife and two kids. Don was 55 at the time of his death

Don was one of the best friends I ever had. His family became an extension of mine. He left this world far too soon. He was a wonderful human being in every respect. Steve Vassallo
