Ken Keller

Ken Keller

1947-06-21 2021-05-23

A native Nashvillian, Ken was born on June 21, 1947. After graduating from Hillsboro High School, he graduated from Memphis State University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He then attended and graduated from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis with a DDS degree.

He married Pam Payne, his loving wife of almost 50 years, on July 1st, 1972, in Memphis.

Ken had a successful dental practice in Nashville for 37 years and retired in 2010. He loved his patients and staff and formed lasting relationships with many of them. In addition to practicing dentistry, he was a prominent seminar leader instructing other healthcare professionals across the country in managing and maintaining a successful practice. He worked with Quest Seminars, Inc. for several years before forming his own company, Keller Seminars, Inc.

Ken was an extraordinary husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who lived life to the fullest. He loved to travel worldwide, and he and Pam did so extensively. Sailing and racing his sailboat were some of his favorite pastimes but, perhaps, his biggest recreational love was his Harley-Davidson. He enjoyed taking numerous trips across the country with his many friends and family. An original PSL owner, he was an avid Titans fan. This was second only to his love of the University of Tennessee Volunteers.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Joe H. and Ruth Keller.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Keller of Brentwood; sons Chris (Courtney) of Nashville and Zach (Jennifer) Keller of Brentwood; and grandchildren Blane, Campbell, E.J. and Beau Keller. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. Joe M. Keller (Jane) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Dr. Keller will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 1420 Wilson Pike, Brentwood on Saturday, June 5th at 11a.m. Visitation will be at the church immediately preceding the service from 10a.m. to 11a.m.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd where Dr. Keller was a member. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks for your love and support of our family during this difficult time.
