Dolores Mackey (Sutton)

Marital status: Widowed
Children: 3
Occupation: retired
Comment: After graduating from MTSU, I taught high school Home Economics in Clarksville, TN.  In 1980 I married a handsome young Army Captain and we spent the next 35 years together living the military life.  He retired while we were living in Vermont and we moved to Mt Juliet, TN in 2000.  We have three daughters and 3 grandchildren.  My husband passed away in June 2014.

These days I spend most of my time traveling to GA to see kids and grandkids.  When I can, I head to the mountains near Asheville, NC where I am restoring our old family home.

Can't wait to see everyone after all these years!

Karen Martin Deceased (Martin)

Marital status: Single again
Occupation: Retired Healthcare Administrator
Comment: Moved to Houston 1970 to pursue nursing career, quickly moved into administration. Married twice, divorced twice, no children. Other than a brief time in Arkansas, I have lived in Houston. Currently planning to move to Memphis in a few months to live near my brother and his wife and 2 30+ year old sons. Attended my last HHS reunion in 1995. Last time to visit Nashville was to sell my mother's house after her death in 2000.

One fond memory out of many was living so close to Rosemary, Bruce, and Cookie and being in and out of each other's houses in grammar school days. We played outside together, probably with others as well but do not remember. We were so lucky to grow up at a time when it was safe to play outside running from yard to yard. In high school driving around in our cars and cruising around Shoney's was a fun thing to do.

I had occasion to go on cruises during my first marriage and fell in love with snorkeling and diving. I first went on the Windjammer cruise line and sailed in the BVI, it was called barefoot cruising as the most dressy you ever had to get was putting on a clean T shirt and shorts. Then more recently after my lasik surgery I went on a few Royal Carribbean cruises out of Galveston. Cruising for me was primarily a way to get to great snorkeling sites in the western Carribbean and could see everything without special optics in my mask.

The love of my life is my 17 year old chronically ill Tabby cat. I also like plants and watching birds.

Marital status: Married

Comment: I live in the country in a small town Southwest of Nashville.  Have one biological child and 5 step children.  I'm retired and play with children and learn a lot of computer games that they play.  This keeps your mind and body moving. Grandchildren range for 3 years to 17 years.  I also live near 3 winery's and my husband and nearby friend make homemade wine.  We have blueberry plants and pick them for wine and eating.

Robert G "Chip" Mayer (Deceased)

Comment: After college, served six years in the U. S. Naval Air Reserve and Tennessee Air National Guard. My business career was spent as a CPA in corporate financial management. During the 70's, I worked for Genesco, first in Nashville, then at companies in Knoxville and Lexingon, KY. In 1981, returned to Nashville with a large medical testing company named International Clinical Laboratories.
