Comment: Wow- 50 years- thank God that the majority of us made it this far. The last 50 years for me have been a true blessing. I married the most wonderful man who gave me 2 wonderful children who in turn have given us 5 precious grandchildren. Both our children and their families live about 10 minutes from us which is really a blessing. I have been a homemaker all these years with a couple of part time jobs here and there. Bridge is my passion and my pastime now as well as a bit of traveling. Blessed, happy, fairly healthy, and SO grateful for my life and all my dear friendships some that were made in those hallowed halls of Hillsboro High School. Looking forward to our reunion and sharing memories. Thanks to the reunion committee for all their time and hard work and I am sure it has been a labour of love. See everyone in July!!!! | |

Wow! 50 years has passed. I will be pleased to be there for this reunion. I am writing this profile the weekend after the Supreme Court made their ruling on marriage being legal in all 50 states for any two people. This has great meaning for me, and maybe some other classmates. Part of being shy and awkward at Hillsboro was to protect myself from what I thought would be persecution as a gay person. It will be a pleasure to be with you all without any of that. I found my way since high school; got educated, found a medical specialty that suits me so well and that I enjoy still. I found --and lost --love, have an adopted child who was a big challenge and who is turning into a lovely kind preschool teacher. I really enjoyed athletics at HHS (though I was not gifted for sure!) and still love being outside, hiking, bicycling, jogging, yoga. I got a great start at HHS. Being older i feel freer and happier than as an awkward teenager. I am looking forward t o some good chats, music, and good food. |

Looking forward to being back in Nashville. After Vanderbilt and a MA at George Washington University I lived in the D.C. area, Lincoln, Nebraska, where I met my wife, Marcella, New Jersey, Houston, Ft Lauderdale and since 1988 Indianapolis where I was president of a health insurer until I retired in 2011. We have a daughter in Brooklyn, NY. She and her husband have a seven year old son and a four year old daughter. Our other daughter and her husband live in Columbus, IN but are temporarily living in England till the end of the year with their four year old son and one year old daughter. We are going to vist in November. In retirement I've been busy with volunteer activities. I was co-chair of a state wide campaign to expand Medicaid. I was board president and still a board member of Family Promise, a shelter for homeless families. |

Hello all, I am still not sure if I will be able to attend the reunion as we will be in Honduras at that time. My husband Terry and I now spend our time between our island, Half Moon Cay in Honduras, and our home in the French Quarter in New Orleans. We are doing well, loving life and right now enjoying two new cattle dog puppies who remain in Honduras as they are too wild for the city. I miss all of you and would love to see you again. Fondly, Diane |

Time flies. Hard to believe its been 50 years. No reason to bore you with what all I've done over these fifty years - but I will say I tried to make the world a better place. Sold my business and moved to Crescent Beach Florida last year where I've wanted to be for over thirty years. Dreams do come true. Daughter lives in San Fran so visits to/fro are special. I've not been to a HHS reuninon and this one will not see me there either - I'll be on the Beach! As the song goes, no body gonna miss me anyway - wow, what a song! But I do miss Lenny C. and John P. |
